Tape Dressing

How to care for your tape dressing:
- Do not perform any bandage changes for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, gently remove the superficial most bandage (the bulky one).
- Do not remove the piece of tape that is adherent to your skin as it is protecting the stitches.
- You may shower with this tape dressing in place.
- We will remove the tape at your follow‐up visit. However, should the tape come off sooner, apply petrolatum jelly (Vaseline) once a day to the surgery site and cover with a band‐aid.
