Once that is complete, the fat is suctioned out or excised, muscles are tightened, and any excess skin is removed, depending on the patient's needs.

You will be sent home with your chin and neck wrapped in dressings or an elastic sling. Any initial discomfort can be easily controlled with oral medication. You can expect bruising and swelling to disappear after approximately 2 weeks. You can expect to return to wok after approximately 10 days and to see final results of the neck lift after 5 months.
